I started the switch to Apple six years years ago and the transition was completed towards the end of 2009. My most most recent purchase was a 27" iMac i7 and it is an amazing piece of equipment.
I have a number of cameras including a Canon 5D and a Canon 1Ds both of which are excellent (in fact the 1Ds is amazing) but towards the end of 2010 I purchased a Sony NEX-5 and this is now the camera that I use on a daily basis.
A few days ago (5-Feb-2012) I ordered a Sony NEX-7 and hopefully it will arrive by the end of this week.
